Meet your tour guide at the hotel at your arrival ! Take up residence before we go for a walk in the city center of Amsterdam, city of a thousands wonders, to reach the place of our Amsterdam canal dinner cruise !
This is the perfect occasion to capture the most beautiful shots of the city, while our boat slowly floats with the current! Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, is known for its artistic heritage, its elaborate system of canals and its narrow gabled houses of the seventeenth century. This cruise is a great way to enjoy the view over the city, and spot places where you might want to go during your free time !
During the evening, we will have a special walking tour in the famous Red Light District! This is the most wholly liberal and tolerant district you might see in your life !
Then will come the free time that you might want to use to go discovering the city by walking along the canals !
After a good breakfast, this morning will be all about cheese ! We will learn how has been made in the traditional way thanks to a cheese-making demonstration that exist for years!
Among other Dutch specialties, we will see how the clog - this famous and weird shoe - is carved, and stop at a windmill to take pictures. Windmill are a entire part of Netherlands landscape and they are many, standing in the middle of flowers fields.
After this stop, we will go on to the Rhine Valley and surprise ! We will board a Rhine Valley river boat to go along the Rhine River. This is an epic trip giving the number of castles that you will have the chance to spot along the road. As a matter of facts, this region has the highest number of medieval castles around. You will see vineyards too and medieval German towns!
After the cruise, we will make a stop at a local winery for a wine tasting ! If we are lucky we may have the chance to taste a rare specialty : the eiswein (ice wine). It is rare and produce in tiny quantities because it is a wine made from frozen grapes !
We will be heading to Innsbruck, Austria, today !
We will stop at Ulm on the road to discover this German city rich in history and tradition, as a former free imperial city.
When arriving in the afternoon in Innsbruck, Austria's capital of Tyrol, you will open your eyes to the beauty of a mountain city nestled in a natural valley. Innsbruck is located in the Alps and has long been a winter sports destination. It is also known for its imperial and modern architecture. Between the Nordkette funicular, futuristic resorts, Gothic houses, this city is a melting pot of styles full of history.
We will have dinner in the city and then you will get all the free time you need to discover the captivating city.
Our advice ? Take the funicular up to the majestic summits of Nordkette and admire the breathtaking view over the Alps ! You should go visiting the Ambras Castle "Schloss Ambras Innsbruck" too, which is one of the most important monuments of the Tyrolean capital!

We will be passing through green roads and exceptional panoramas where we will be able to capture amazing pictures on our way ! This road winds between majestic mountains, placed here as a witness of time. Hundreds of rivers flow in this fertile and vibrant region.
While reaching Venice, The city of lovers, with its gondolas, canals, very good restaurants and incredibly romantic atmosphere, you will understand why this city is a must. From palaces to palaces and from churches to churches, you will have the impression of finding yourself in the heart of a painting. Venice is a city particularly rich in history and monuments - the image of a paradise on the water...
The afternoon is yours to explore this famous yet secret Italian cocoon.
Our advice ? See St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace: Two Architectural Wonders of Venetian Art. See The Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, a church in Venice at the southern end of the Grand Canal. The sacristy contains many paintings, including the famous "Noces de Cana" of Tintoretto.
For a perfect venetian experience, ask your tour leader to organize a ride in the famous gondolas on the Grand Canal and through the waterways maze, to observe both the magnificent facades and the ballet of boats.
Today we will head to Switzerland !
Our first stop will be in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliette, for a short time.
Then we will be going straight to Lucerne !
Lucerne is a small town in Switzerland, known for its very well-preserved medieval architecture. The city lies in the middle of the snowy mountains on Lake Lucerne. Its colorful old town is bordered on the north by an 870-meter-long wall dating back to the 14th century (the Museggmauer)
Lucerne is a concentrate of Switzerland all by itself. There is the city, the lake and the mountains. The city is surrounded by Lake Lucerne and the Reuss River at the foot of the Swiss Alps.
There are many things to see. Among others, covered wooden bridges such as the Chapel Bridge (the oldest wooden bridge in Europe), the Jesuit Church of Lucerne, a masterpiece of Baroque Architecture and many museums...
Before we head out forward to Burgundy, you'll have the morning to appreciate the Lucerne region - You will be more than welcomed to join us for the Mount Pilatus excursion.
Regardless of whether you take the world's steepest cogwheel railroad from Alpnachstad or the panoramic gondolas cableway from Kriens, you will go up through beautiful Alpine flowers, past shining mountain streams and captivating rock faces - the Mount Pilatus genuinely offers that interesting Alpine experience! We at that point will leave Switzerland and travel west into France.
