Where to go shopping in Paris ? Paris, the French Capital is also worldwidely known for the different places where you can go shopping ! Shopping in Paris is also an opportunity for everyone to visit the city while spending time discovering new fashion brands, clothes, accessories or shoes, anything you’ll be looking for.
It is possible to buy French cheese, chocolate, patisseries, luxury and many more things. Here are some of the greatest places where shopping is more than pleasant.
The Galleries Lafayette
The Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann have since been created in 1894 a true Parisian icon of fashion and a must visit place of the capital.
This famous big shop is easy to access with the multiple stations around: Metro Chaussée d’Antin, La Fayette and Havre – Caumartin and the RER A at Auber’s station.
More than 3500 brands all in one huge shopping place are waiting for you. There are many famous brands such as Dior, Chanel, TopShop, Armani, Estee Lauder, Eden, Kenzo and smaller brands, less famous which gain to be known !

The Marais District
The Marais is not only a touristic district. It is also the nest of the new Parisian trends and the cradle of famous fashionistas ! Luxury shopping on the Champs Elysées

On its 1 910m long, you can shop and eat all the way down and up (on both sides of the road). On one end you will have the Place de la Concorde with the famous Obélisque and on the other and you will have de mystic Arc de Triomphe that you must see during your trip in Paris. One of the most popular: Châtelet les Halles / Rue de Rivoli
Châtelet les Halles is a huge shopping mall where you will walk across a very wide range of shops. There are shops for anything and everything : beauty, accessories, fashion, multimedia, home, games, sports and outdoors. Recently renewed, it offers a great cultural center too !
Go outside this shopping mall, walk for less than 5 minutes and you will be standing on Rue de Rivoli where you will also be able to shop all the way up and down the street. Once again, you will have the pleasure to see that there are multiple kinds of shops. And, if you’re hungry you can either grab a sandwich or go and eat in a restaurant such as Le Paradis du Fruit for example.
Shopping outlet : La Vallée Village
Located next to the famous Disneyland Paris, the Vallée Village is the paradise of fashion professionals !
It looks like a kind of small town with only outlets shops. You will have a multiple choice of famous brands shops such as Dolce & Gabana, Ralph Lauren, and UGG… You can buy luxury items for small prices. Plus it opens everyday from 10:00am to 7:00pm and to 8:00pm on Saturdays.
Beaugrenelle & rue de Passy
Based in the 15th district of Paris, this big shopping center opens everyday from 10:00am to 8:30pm, from monday to saturday and 11:00am to 7:00pm on sunday. Not far from the Eiffel Tower, have a break from all your visits by going there !
Go across the bridge and walk for about 10 minutes, you will reach the Rue de Passy. A street where the biggest brand such as Gap, H&M, Lacoste and a lot more meet with smaller shops. Then grab a coffee at the Nespresso Store !
So, in only these two areas you will for sure leave with a lot of bags. Take the time to stop at the covered market of Passy and Passy Plaza.
Flea market – Saint-Ouen
